In ancient times people wrote on clay tablets. Flatten some clay, and practice writing on the clay tablets.
Draw on a modern day tablet.

Other:
Babbling often means talking a lot, and not always making sense to others, and often refers to toddlers. Sometimes you will hear "babbling brook". What do you think this means?
